In the event of the death of the insured or the pensioner, regardless of the cause, the following pensions will be granted:
1 - For funeral expenses
2 - Widowhood
3 - Orphanhood
The widowhood benefit will be granted to the spouse of the deceased. This benefit will consist of:
A monthly subsidy of 40% of the base salary for contributions, for a period of twenty-four months, to the widow under thirty years of age, without children.
A pension of 40% of the base salary for contributions to the widow with children, over thirty years of age, or disabled
A pension of 40% of the base salary for contributions to the disabled widower who is economically dependent on the deceased spouse.
Requirements for funeral expenses:
- Copy of the deceased's INSESO card, if they had one
- Copy of the applicant's and the deceased's DIP
- Copy of the deceased's appointment
- The last three pay slips from the treasury
- Express and signed authorization by the members of the deceased's family, in case the applicant is not a direct relative of the deceased (each signatory must attach a copy of their DIP)
- Copy of the marriage certificate ( legalized by the Ministry of Justice), if requested by the widow
- Fill out the application form addressed to the National Delegate
- Copy of the death certificate
